AMP Biographies

Susan Cottrell - After receiving a B.S. in Music Education at Westchester University in Pennsylvania and spending three and a half years in New York, Sue came to the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music (CCM) where she is working towards a M.F.A. in Musical Theatre. Some of her favorite roles have been Florence in Chess, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Eva Peron in Evita and Mrs. Lyons in Blood Brothers. Sue has also toured with the American Family Theatre, this is her first AMP Theatre Company production.

Brian Gaukel - Brian is a junior at CCM where he is studying Vocal Performance. He also spent three summers and one year at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. He has appeared in the CCM productions of The Elixir of Love and Gianni Schicci where he played Pinelino. He has also appeared in high school productions as Billy Bigelow in Carousel, Sir Harry in Once Upon a Mattress and Freddy in My Fair Lady. This is Brian's fourth AMP Theatre Company production.
Destiny Kish - Destiny is a sophomore at the University of Cincinnati and was last seen as Cosette from Les Miserables in a UC women's chorus musical review. Destiny has also appeared in high school productions of West Side Story, A Christmas Carol and Alice in Wonderland, where she played the title role.

Ailie McFarland - Ailie is a sophomore at the College Conservatory of Music, studying Music Education with a concentration in violin. She was last seen as the Fiddler in the Spectrum Theatricals production of Fiddler on the Roof. Ailie has also appeared in The Music Man and Anything Goes. This is her first AMP Theatre Company production.
Andre McRae - Andre received his B.M. from CCM in Voice Performance last year and will be returning to CCM's masters program in the fall. He has appeared in the world premier of Seasons In Hell. Andre also played Don Pedro in Berlioz's Beatrice and Benedict and a leading role in David Marmot's Duck Variations. Andre also musically directed the AMP Theatre Company's production of Godspell last year.

Greg Miller - Greg received his B.F.A. in Theatre at Washington State University and is currently finishing up his M.F.A. in Theatre at CCM. He has appeared in the CCM productions of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof as Brick and Lend Me A Tenor as Max. Greg played Jesus in the AMP Theatre Company's production of Godspell last year.
Katie Ann Richardson - Katie Ann will be graduating with a B.F.A. from CCM this summer. She has been seen most recently in the CCM production of Sweet Charity and has also appeared in the Miami Vally Dinner Theatre production of Timeless Christmas Treasures where she had a featured dance role. Katie Ann has also had television and film experience, including such commercial credits as South Dakota Gold Jewelry and Folgers Coffee. This is her first AMP Theatre Company production.

Leslie Roberts - Leslie recently completed her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre at CCM and has also studied at the Boston Conservatory of Music. She has performed in Ben Vereen's Life Tour and on Royal Caribbean Cruises. Leslie was last seen performing with Lee Roy Reams at the UC president's ball. At CCM she played Helene in Sweet Charity and Emeline DeQuincey in Babes In Arms, as well as in the premier and original soundtrack of Seasons In Hell. Leslie also appeared in the St. Louis Muny Workshop of Sleeping Beauty. Last year she appeared in the AMP Theatre Company's production of Godspell, her favorite show of all time.
Adam Townes - Adam graduated from Northwest High School in Indianapolis and has also taken some classes at U.C. He is currently working in the commercial loan department at Fifth Third Bank. Adam has been with the AMP Theatre Company since its founding and has appeared in such shows as Godspell and By George. Adam also vocally arranged some of the songs in You're The Top.

Melvin D. Tunstall, III - Mel recently graduated from CCM, where he received a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. While there he played Big Daddy in Sweet Charity and Irving DeQuincey in the revival of Babes In Arms, commissioned by the Rodgers and Hart Estate for CCM. Originally from North Carolina, Mel has performed throughout the United States, including a performance at the White House for Pres. and Mrs. Clinton. Mel choreographed and performed the role of Judas in the AMP production of Godspell, and he conceived and directed By George. He is thrilled to see one of his dreams come true and he thanks the theatre company for giving him this opportunity. And by the way, Mel is still looking for a real job.
