As the new year approached, members and friends of the Cincinnati Church of Christ were treated to a fantastic evening of fun and family entertainment. The Teen Ministry Band, Something Real played two sets of heart pounding music thrilling the crowd of approximately 300 people. Something Real features Mike Oliva on guitar and lead vocals, Cam Dilts, bass and vocals, and John Cromer, drums and vocals.

The star of the show, however, turned out to be our evangelist, Jack Armstrong, who joined the band and swooned the crowd by singing Elvis Presley's hit "I Can't Help Falling in Love With You" which also featured Sam Farley on keyboards.

Between sets, the music continued with some entertaining karioke where dozens of people displayed their God given talent, or in a few cases, their bravery.

Minutes before midnight, the fellowship joined Dick Clark on the big screen TV to welcome 2002 with ABC's coverage of the 30th annual Rockin' New Years Eve, from Times Square in New York City, which complimented the evening's musical entertainment.
